What are the social, cultural, and political stakes of activating public discourse? How can artists employ activist strategies as well as digital technologies to nurture public knowledge and open, democratic dialogue? This research group instigates public discourse and positive change around emerging geopolitical and environmental realities by developing collaborative and interpretive projects.
The faculty coleaders for this research group are Jonah Brucker-Cohen and Ashley Dawson. The group's senior advisors are Katherine Carl and David Joselit.
