About the event
Join us for a reading with seven award-winning contemporary poets and writers celebrating the great tradition of women poets in America. We are delighted to co-present this culminating installment of the Poetry Society of America’s 2014 National series which pays tribute to the immense achievement of a wide range of poets, from Hannah Weiner to Elizabeth Bishop, Ai, Paula Gunn Allen, and Anonymous. Readers will discuss the influence of these poets and read poems of their own in tribute.
