The Institute for Research on the African Diaspora in the Americas and the Caribbean (IRADAC) presents poets Simone White and Terrance Hayes in conversation at the Graduate Center, CUNY. The event takes place in Rooms C-201/202/203 at the Graduate Center, CUNY, and the venue is wheel-chair accessible.
Simone White is the author of Dear Angel of Death, Of Being Dispersed, and House of Envy of All the World, and the chapbooks Unrest and Dolly. Recent poems and prose have appeared in e-flux, New York Times Book Review, and Frieze. She lives in Brooklyn and teaches at the University of Pennsylvania.
Terrance Hayes is a teacher and student of poetry. His most recent publications include American Sonnets for My Past And Future Assassin (Penguin 2018) and To Float In The Space Between: Drawings and Essays in Conversation with Etheridge Knight (Wave, 2018).
