Anna Feigenbaum

Dr. Anna Feigenbaum is a writer, researcher and educator working on communication and social change. She is an Associate Professor in Communication and Digital Media at Bournemouth University, where she teaches multimedia journalism and convenes the Civic Media Hub and BU Datalabs project. Engaging with the history of media, in her research she investigates how technological practices shape political action. She is author of Tear Gas: From the Battlefields of WWI to the Streets of Today (Verso 2017) and co-author of Protest Camps (Zed 2013), and a regular contributor to the media (BBC Radio 4, The Guardian, The Atlantic, Salon.com, the Financial Times, and BBC Mundo among others).
