Join us for a screening of the entire first season of Stage Left, a new web series that introduces viewers to the performances, artists, theatre-makers, and communities that are making work in places that go largely unnoticed by the mainstream. Stage Left examines the impact of theatre and performance on local communities. Each episode of Stage Left investigates a theatre company, performance tradition or performative ritual that is actively steeped in a particular community. The screening will be one hour long, followed by a Q+A with the show's creator Ashley Marinaccio (Ph.D. Theatre and Performance), a recipient of the 2019 Public Humanities Fellowship from Humanities New York and the Center for the Humanities at the Graduate Center, CUNY.
