About the event
Artists/musicians Kabir Carter and Alan Licht join Andrew Cappetta in a discussion on the relationship between avant-garde visual art and underground music. Through brief presentations on selected topics and a moderated discussion, this conversation will explore the practices of different artists who work with music, and how using music as a form allows these artists to work across the boundary between high and low culture, and reach new audiences through different spaces of distribution.
