Zachary Baron Shemtob is a practicing lawyer and former Assistant Professor of Criminology and Criminal Justice at Central Connecticut State University. He specializes in and has written on theories of punishment, sentencing, and jurisprudence, and is the co-editor, with Susan Opotow, of New York After 9/11.
