Vincent Katz is a poet, translator, and critic. The author of Southness (Lunar Chandelier Press), Swimming Home (Nightboat Books) and The Complete Elegies of Sextus Propertius (Princeton University Press), he is also the editor of Black Mountain College: Experiment in Art (MIT Press). He is the curator of the “Readings in Contemporary Poetry” series at Dia:Chelsea and the editor of the anthology Readings in Contemporary Poetry (Dia Art Foundation). A collaboration with Anne Waldman, Fantastic Caryatids, is recently out from BlazeVOX Books. Katz lives in New York City.
