Tom Keenan is Associate Professor of Comparative Literature and Director of the Human Rights Project at Bard College. He is the author of Fables of Responsibility (Stanford University Press, 1997), editor of The End(s) of the Museum (1996), and co-editor of multiple publications, including New Media, Old Media (Routledge, 2005) and Paul de Man, Wartime Journalism, 1939–1943 (University of Nebraska Press, 1988). He has been a fellow at the Center for the Critical Analysis of Contemporary Culture, Rutgers (1991–92), the Joan Shorenstein Center for Press and Politics (1998), and the John F. Kennedy School of Government (1998).
