Talha Can İşsevenler received a Social and Political Sciences degree from Sabancı University, Istanbul. He is currently a PhD student in the sociology department at the Graduate Center, CUNY as well as an instructor at Queens College. In dialogue with his previous field work on square and park occupations/inhabitations in Madrid, Athens, Istanbul and Paris (2011-2016), he is interested in theorizations of plural temporalities, constituting effects of violence and new categories of thought to engage with non-human aspects of technicity.
