Soniya Munshi

Soniya Munshi is an Assistant Professor of Sociology at Borough of Manhattan Community College/ CUNY, where she also teaches Asian American Studies in the Center for Ethnic Studies. Her research concerns the carceral state, public health, gendered violence, women of color abolitionist feminisms and racialized migrants, with a focus on her home borough of Queens.
