Shadey Ruiz is a high school graduate (class of 2018) and an artivist meaning she loves to use her artistic skills as a poet in her activism. Being a teenager to many is easy now be in my shoes where I’m a teenage mom! Crazy right? She's not ashamed or afraid to say that she is a proud mother. You may not think she would be so open minded because of how quiet she is, but she is a super positive person who doesn't let people get her down so easily. She fights for a better education system as a student and as a parent so her daughter can have a better, more just experience.
