​Robert Vas Dias

Robert Vas Dias, an Anglo-American resident in London, has published twelve collections in the UK and USA, the most recent of which is a collaborative artist’s book with the British artist Julia Farrer, Syntax of Bridges (Ki Press, 2014-2015), and Arrivals & Departures: Prose Poems (Shearsman 2014) – “necessary reading for anyone following contemporary developments in the prose poem”, wrote David Caddy, Editor, Tears in the Fence). A new collaborative book with Farrer, Black Book, is in preparation for publication in September. His poetry and criticism have appeared in over 100 magazines, journals, and anthologies in both countries. He has recently published papers on the prose poem and on the American poets Paul Blackburn and Jackson Mac Low. He was General Secretary of The Poetry Society in the mid-1970s
