Rachel Blau DuPlessis, Professor Emerita, Temple University, is the author of the long poem Drafts, and of several critical books on poetry and on gender, including Purple Passages: Pound, Eliot, Zukofsky, Olson, Creeley and the Ends of Patriarchal Poetry (University of Iowa Press, 2012). She edited The Selected Letters of George Oppen (1990). A feature in Jacket2 on her work, edited by Patrick Pritchett, was posted in October 2011. In spring 2012, she will be a Distinguished Visitor at the University of Auckland, New Zealand.
