Pietro Rigolo received a M.A. in Visual Art from IUAV University in Venice and a Ph.D. from Istituto Italiano di Scienze Umane – Università degli Studi in Siena. His research focuses on postwar history of exhibitions and museology. He has worked as assistant lecture at IUAV University (2007-2012), attended the 3rd Gwangju Biennale International Curator Course, and collaborated with the magazine Abitare. His thesis was published in 2013 with the title Immergersi nel luogo prescelto: Harald Szeemann a Locarno, 1978-2000 (doppiozero). Pietro is currently working at the Getty Research Institute, Los Angeles, as the subject expert in the team processing the Harald Szeemann papers, and will publish this year a book on Szeemann's unrealized project La Mamma (Johan & Levi).
