Phanesia Pharel is a student at the Barnard College of Columbia University. Right now, Phanesia is extremely passionate about environmental justice. Phanesia thinks that this is the most important issue facing the world today and its connection to everything. Young people can take any action to better their community and fight injustice in any way shape or form, that means speaking up, protesting, calling representatives, taking care of people that they can or using their resources to help those with a lower standard of living.
