Nate Mickelson is Assistant Professor of English at Guttman Community College, CUNY. His research and teaching explore the intersections of poetry and poetics, creative literacy, and everyday life. Nate is author of City Poems and American Urban Crisis (Bloomsbury, 2018) and editor of Writing as a Way of Staying Human in a Time that Isn’t (Vernon Press, 2018).
