Mohit Chandna works as an Assistant Professor of French and Francophone Studies at the English and Foreign Languages University in India. He has written articles and reviewed critical works in journals like the International Journal of Francophone Studies and the Journal of Commonwealth and Postcolonial Studies. His most recent article, "Femme et dislocation nationale chez Ananda Devi" was published in the journal, Interculturel Francophonies. He has taught a range of seminars on Francophone literature such as, Francophone Worlds; Postcolonial Theory and The Francophone Literary Tradition. He is currently working on a book that deals with authors like Édouard Glissant from Martinique and Ananda Devi from the Indian Ocean who depict the slave trade, indentured labor, and the movement from the colony to the metropolis."
