Miciah Hussey

Miciah Hussey is a PhD candidate in the Program in English and a Presidential Research Fellow at the Center for the Humanities, Graduate Center, CUNY. The focus of his research is the 19th and early 20th century British novel, critical theory, and visual studies. He is currently working on a dissertation titled Radical Interiority which examines the representation of selfhood as an aesthetic experience in the novels of Charlotte Bronte, Henry James, and Virginia Woolf. While at the Center he has programed numerous events, including a series of conversations between artists and writers, and has participated in the Translation seminar as a part of the Mellon Seminar for Collaborative Research and Public Engagement.
