Michiko Shimokobe

Prof. Michiko Shimokobe teaches in the Faculty of Humanities Department of English and American Literature at Seikei University, Japan. She has published Japanese translations of Professor Cathy Caruth's works, “Unclaimed Experience,” “Trauma: Explorations in Memory, “ etc. She is also the director of The Project on Monroe Doctrine and its Performativity in the 21st Century: Grants-in-Aid for Scientific Research sponsored by the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS).
