Maya Dorn is a Bay Area based singer-songwriter and performance artist. Aside from her solo work, she can be seen and heard as MC Ladyfinger in the electro pop futurists Sweet Snacks, and was a long time member of the 10 piece Afro-beat ensemble Aphrodesia as a singer, dancer, percussionist and lyricist. Maya has toured internationally and worked with such luminaries as Jerry Casale of Devo, has had tea with the queen of England, and shook her money maker on stage with Femi Kuti in Lagos, Nigeria.
