María Josefina Saldaña-Portillo is an Associate Professor in the Department of Social and Cultural Analysis at NYU, where she directs the Latino Studies Program. She is the author of The Revolutionary Imagination in the Americas and the Age of Development, and (forthcoming) Indian Given: The Racial Geographies of Mexico, the United States, and Aztlán.
