Marjorie Welish is the author of In the Futurity Lounge / Asylum for Indeterminacy (2012) and, together with James Siena, Oaths, an artists’ constructed book of visual and verbal text. A conference on her writing and art at the University of Pennsylvania in 2002 resulted in the book Of the Diagram: The work of Marjorie Welish. A second (2-day) conference on the range of her work occurred in Paris on April 11-12, 2013. Marjorie Welish is Madelon Leventhal Rand Distinguished Lecturer in Literature, at Brooklyn College.
