Maria Grewe

Maria Grewe holds a Ph.D. in German literature and teaches composition/rhetoric and literature courses in the English Department at John Jay College, CUNY. She has taught German language and literature at Columbia University, Barnard College, Hunter College, and The Cooper Union. Her research interests include contemporary German-language minority literature and Black German women’s literature and activism in a transnational context.
