Lynn Di Iorio

Lynn Di Iorio is both a fiction writer and a scholar and teaches graduate seminars at the CUNY Graduate Center as well as literature and creative writing classes at the City College of New York. Her novella Outside the Bones (Arte Publico Press, 2011) was a 2012 Foreward Review Book of the Year Silver Award winner, 2011 Latinidad List Best Debut Novel by a Latino/a Writer, John Gardner 2012 Fiction Prize Finalist, among other distinctions. Her scholarship explores abjected and emerging subject positions in works by Caribbean and US artists.
