Lyn Di Iorio is the author of Outside the Bones (2011), which was named "Best Debut Novel" on the 2011 Latinidad List, and for which Lyn was also selected by LatinoStories.com as number two on the 2012 Top Ten "New" Latino Authors to Watch and Read List. Lyn also wrote the scholarly study Killing Spanish: Literary Essays on Ambivalent U.S. Latino Identity (Palgrave Macmillan, 2004) and was co-editor of the anthology of critical essays, Contemporary U.S. Latino Literary Criticism. She is a member of the faculty in the English departments at The City College of New York and The Graduate Center of CUNY. Currently, she is working on a new novel called The Sound of Falling Darkness.
