Lisa Duggan is Professor of Social and Cultural Analysis at New York University, where she is also Director fo Gender & Sexuality Studies. She is the author of many works, including The Twilight of Equality?: Neoliberalism, Cultural Politics, and the Attack on Democracy, and Sapphic Slashers: Sex, Violence and American Modernity.
