La Morada restaurant is a South Bronx restaurant specializing in Oaxacan cuisine, with a lending library & a Poet in Residence, and is in solidarity with street vendors, Day laborers, restaurant workers, and undocumented esse.
Throughout the Coronavirus pandemic La Morada Restaurant served a minimum of 5,000 meals weekly. With the help of volunteers and friends, we delivered fresh hot meals throughout the entirety of the mandated quarantine in New York City. This GoFundMe will help us continue our work and help us be better prepared in the worst case scenario of a
second wave.
