Kelly Aliano received her PhD from the CUNY Graduate Center and wrote her dissertation on Theatre of the Ridiculous. She published a chapter on the Ridiculous in Theatre/Performance Historiography: Time, Space, Matter (Palgrave Macmillan, 2015). She has presented on that subject, as well as on video gaming, at many national conferences. She currently teaches at LaGuardia Community College and Hunter College.
