Kate Rabassa Wallen

Kate Rabassa Wallen followed in her father’s footsteps, studying Latin and Spanish at Hunter College High School in Manhattan, and later dabbling in Russian at Dartmouth College, where she majored in math. She put some of her Latin to use in law school, earning her J.D. from the Cardozo School of Law. Currently an arbitrator specializing in no-fault auto insurance, Kate now lives in Little Egg Harbor, NJ but still enjoys frequent visits to New York, where she can listen to a variety of languages spoken on the streets of her multicultural hometown.
