Justin Rogers-Cooper is Assistant Professor at LaGuardia Community College, where he teaches composition, writing pedagogy, American literature, and urban studies. He received his Ph.D in English from the CUNY Graduate Center in 2011. His scholarship focuses on popular fiction and mob politics, with a special focus on nineteenth and early twentieth century transnational labor history, economic crises, and moral economies of the crowd.
