John Yau is a poet, fiction writer, publisher, and critic, whose art and literary reviews are posted regularly on the online magazine, Hyperallergic Weekend. He runs Black Square Editions, which publishes books of poetry, fiction, translation, and criticism. His latest books include a selection of essays, The Wild Children of William Blake (Autonomedia, 2017) and the monograph Thomas Nozkowski (Lund Humphries, 2017). The author of many books of poetry and fiction, he has a book of poetry, Bijoux in the Dark, forthcoming from Letter Machine Editions in the spring of 2018. He lives in New York and is Professor of Critical Studies at Mason Gross School of Art (Rutgers University).
