Jean-Pascal Flavien (b. 1971, Le Mans, France) studied in Rennes, France; Bologna, Italy; and at UCLA in Los Angeles, California. His work has been shown in solo exhibitions at Angle Art Contemporain, Saint-Paul-Trois-Châteaux, France (2013); South London Gallery, London (2012); Parc Saint Léger, Centre d’art contemporain, Pougues-les-Eaux, France (2012); Kunstverein, Langenhagen, Germany (2012); and HEDAH/Jan van Eyck Academie, Maastricht (2011). His work was included in group exhibitions at KAI 21/ Arthena Foundation, Düsseldorf (2014); Westfälischer Kunstverein, Münster (2013); LACE, Los Angeles (2013); La Vitrine, Le Plateau, Paris (2012); Les Abattoirs, Toulouse, France (2012); MUSAC, León, France (2011); Witte de With, Rotterdam (2011); and KUB Arena, Kunsthaus Bregenz (2011). Flavien lives and works in Berlin.
