Iréne Hultman, a native Swede, is a choreographer/performer based in NYC, involved with the global discourse of dance and performance. She was a member and rehearsal director of Trisha-Brown-Dance-Company, and artistic director of Iréne-Hultman-Dance. Hultman has choreographed several opera-productions, received commissions, fellowships and participated in artistic collaborations with individuals and institutions. She is currently faculty at Yale University and in MALS-American Studies Program at the Graduate Center.
