H. Aram Veeser is the author of Edward Said: The Charisma of Criticism, and the editor of The New Historicism, Confessions of the Critics, and other books. He has written for The Nation and Z Magazine. His next book is The Greatest Generation based on interviews with literary theorists and editors. He is professor of English at CCNY and professor in MEMEAC at the Graduate Center, CUNY.
