GÖRAN ROSENBERG was born in Sweden in 1948 to David and Hala Rosenberg, Holocaust survivors who emigrated from Poland after the war. He is one of Sweden's best known journalists and authors. He is the author of many non-fiction books that have been translated into several languages. His most recent book is A BRIEF STOP ON THE ROAD FROM AUCHSWITZ, which won the August Prize in 2012 and was published in 2015 by Other Press.
