Federico Luisetti received his Ph.D. in Comparative Literature and Italian Studies at The Graduate Center, City University of New York, in 2001 as well as his Doctorate in Philosophy from the Università degli Studi di Torino in 2000. He is the author of the books Una vita. Pensiero selvaggio e filosofia dell'intensita' (Mimesis, 2011); Estetica dell’immanenza. Saggi sulle parole, le immagini e le macchine (Aracne, 2008), and Plus Ultra. Enciclopedismo barocco e modernità (Trauben, 2001). He has edited with Luca Somigli a special issue on Italian Futurism of the journal Annali d'Italianistica, 27, 2009: A Century of Futurism: 1909-2009. With Giorgio Maragliano he has edited two volumes on museum studies: Dopo il museo (Trauben, 2006) and Museo, a special issue of the Rivista di Estetica, ns 16, 1/2001.
