Erin Turner is a site-specific installation artist who is interested in land-based practices, preservation, and collaboration. Through symbolic narratives, her work questions place, public and private usage of land, and the ephemeral qualities of communication. Her most recent projects questions the implication of energy and mineral extraction methods, and what the conversation is between the land and the people associated. She often collaborates with musicians and dancers to create interdisciplinary and interactive works.
