Diana B. Greenwald is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science at the City College of New York. From 2017-2018, she was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Middle East Initiative at the Harvard Kennedy School. Prior to that, she obtained her Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Michigan. Her research focuses on conflicts over the state and its institutions, with an emphasis on how features of such conflicts vary locally. Her background is in the politics of the Middle East and North Africa, with a particular focus on Palestinian politics.
