Cristina Pérez Jiménez is an Assistant Professor of English at Manhattan College. She specializes in Hispanic Caribbean and US-Latino/a literatures and cultures, with a strong subspecialty in theories of race and ethnicity, as well as transnational and diaspora studies. She is the recipient of the 2016 Bancroft Dissertation Prize.
