​Corina Copp

Corina Copp is a New York-based writer working at the intersections of performance, film, and contemporary feminist poetics. She is the author of The Green Ray (Ugly Duckling Presse, 2015); several chapbooks; and the play, The Whole Tragedy of the Inability to Love, fragments of which have been presented at Artists Space, Home Alone 2 Gallery, NYC Prelude Festival, Dixon Place, and through LMCC's Workspace. Lately, her work has appeared among others: in Francesca Capone's Text Means Tissue (Nationale, Portland); in Alan Reid's Warm Equations (Edition Patrick Frey, Zurich); and in collaboration with David Court for 8eleven Gallery in Toronto. A video-essay titled "Goodnight, Chantal”—on voice, sleep, and Chaplin as consolations in Chantal Akerman's films—was recently presented at After Chantal: An International Conference (U. of Westminster, London, 2016). Other critical writing and poetry can be found now or soon in Los Angeles Review of Books, Imperial Matters, BOMB, Cabinet, Prelude, and elsewhere.
