Ashna Ali (she/they) is a queer Bangladeshi poet, researcher, and educator who grew up in Italy and lives in Brooklyn. They have published poetry in Bone Bouquet, Nat.Brut, femmescapes, The Felt, and HeARTOnline. They are currently a doctoral candidate in the Comparative Literature program at The Graduate Center, CUNY, working on twentieth century narratives by migrant women of color. Their academic research is published or forthcoming in Journal of Narrative Theory, MAI: Feminism and Visual Culture, Global South, and minnesota review.
