Aoibheann Sweeney

Aoibheann Sweeney is the Executive Director of the Center for the Humanities. She is the author of Among Other Things I've Taken up Smoking, which was an Editor's Choice at the New York Times Book Review, and has written for the New York Times and The Washington Post, among other publications. She earned her MFA at University of Virginia, where she was a Henry Hoyns Fellow. She has been curating programs at the Center for the Humanities which bring together scholars, writers, artists and civic leaders for over a decade.
