Anthony Freeman is the Senior Evaluation Specialist in the HIV Prevention Program at the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene. He is also a doctoral candidate in the Social Welfare program at the CUNY Graduate Center/Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College as well as an adjunct lecturer in the Gender Studies program at John Jay College of Criminal Justice, CUNY. His primary research interest lies in identity issues concerning Black and Latinx lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) communities. He received a master’s degree in the Sexuality Studies from San Francisco State University (SFSU) and bachelor’s degree from Hunter College with a double major/BA in Psychology and Media.
