Annea Lockwood

Annea Lockwood is a composer whose works range from chamber and vocal music to sound art and installations. She has taught courses on Women and Music with composer Ruth Anderson at Hunter College, and with scholar Leslie Dunn at Vassar College, where Lockwood is a Professor Emerita. Current work includes Wild Energy, a collaboration with Bob Bielecki: an installation exploring infrasound and ultrasound signals from geophysical and other phenomena, to be presented at the Caramoor Music Festival in 2014.
