Andrew Ross (b. 1989, Miami, FL) is based in Brooklyn, New York. Ross received his BFA from Cooper Union, where he was awarded the Jacques and Natasha Gelman Trust Award for exceptional ability in the field of sculpture (2011). He has been a resident at the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture (2011), Lower Manhattan Cultural Council’s Swing Space (2013) and Atelier Mondial in Riehen, Switzerland (2014). He has been a participant in Open Sessions at The Drawing Center, during the program's inaugural session (2014-2015). His work has been exhibited internationally, including at The Studio Museum in Harlem, NY; The Drawing Center, NY; A+A Gallery, Venice, Italy; Basement, Basel, Switzerland; and Signal, Brooklyn.
