Amina Fofana is the Executive Campaign director of #StillNotEqual campaign for IntegrateNYC in efforts to raise awareness about school segregation and the fundamentals of an integrated educational system. She is the founder of the INYC Artivist committee teaching students the use of various mediums of art as a tool for activism and awareness. Amina is now working at INYC to change educational policy in NYC and around the country through IntegrateUS. Being part of multiple youth empowerment groups and a peer mediation pilot program, Artivism has become her passion. She is dedicated to elevating her community and youth voices by using Artivism to influence civic liberation. She will be attending School of Visual Arts in the fall to pursue her passion for the arts.
