Aaron Levy is the founder and Executive Director of Slought Foundation, a Philadelphia-based institution that operates at the intersection of art, advocacy, and social theory and develops exhibitions, events, publications, and other practices of engagement. As Chief Curator, Levy has developed a specific approach to the curatorial which is characterized by an attention to literary, historical and theoretical considerations and strategies; the performative role of language in creating spaces and publics; and the curatorial as a textual practice and as a form of advocacy.
