About the collection
These events look at experimental models of teaching and learning, from digital platforms to bartered workshops. Many have been culled from the Extra-Institutional Education Working Group, organized by Michael Mandiberg and Jennifer Stoops. Their working group looked at the theoretical and political repercussions of education outside of a traditional institution, and explored the future of creative learning.
Other events, organized around various exhibitions in the James Gallery, look at the histories of experimental pedagogy or use the gallery space itself as a space for learning.
