About the event

Join us for a panel featuring Luigi Ballerini (UCLA), JoAnn Cavallo (Columbia University), Paolo Fasoli (CUNY), Alessandro Giammei (Princeton University), and Bettina Lerner (CUNY) discussing Ariosto's legacy in modern literature and arts. This event is part of the symposium Ariosto After 500 Years, a week-long series of events to celebrate the fifth centenary of the first edition of Ariosto’s Orlando Furioso, organized by the Comparative Literature Department and the Italian Specialization at the Graduate Center, CUNY, the Department of Italian Studies at NYU, and the Department of Italian at Columbia University.
